Works in Progress
Like the back and forth of processing thoughts in the left and right sides of our brains, these pieces engage the physical experience of shifting a viewer's mental perception and one's interpretation and emotional and mental processing of dimensional content and moments in time.
Being 3 dimensional, the viewer actively engages with the pieces as they change depending on the viewer's perspective. Unlike artwork on a flat computer screen, this work requires the physical interaction with viewers that is only possible in person. There's no substitute for experiencing art in person.
The artwork below explores the 3D accordion fold approach that incorporate graphic elements/tiles and font treatments.
